Creating a Mii

A step by step to how to create a Mii.
Now you too can customize your very own Mii. Nintendo Wii's interface allows you to design and create a Mii and it is simple to use. Have fun creating your Mii, playing with it or swapping Mii's with friends. Just by following a few easy steps you can create your very own Mii.
Step 1 - Name your Mii
This is the starting interface screen where you begin to create your Mii. You will notice you have a set of icons at the top of the interface that represent different facial areas and features. We will be going through each of these icons and helping you create your Mii through the different icons and their features. But first, start by providing a name for your Mii.
Step 2 - Shirt Color
You now have the option to select the color of the shirt for your Mii. Your color options are green, yellow, pink, red, purple, blue, dark grey and a dark brown. These options are located right in the middle of the screen under the heading of "favorite color". Once you have selected the shirt color you are really to move on to the next setting.
Step 3 - Head Shape
Click on the next icon at the top (the head shape). You should now be at a screen that has 8 different head shapes in the middle - pear, circular, long face just to name a few. Select one of the shapes that best represents you. You also have the option of selecting from 6 different the skin colors at the right top, ranging from pale light to a dark brown color. The buttons below the skin colors provide you with advance control over the shape and size of the head. There are 6 buttons in total - the first two button let you move the head up or down, the middle buttons expand or shink the length of the head and the last two buttons control the width of your head.
Step 4 - Facial Features
On the same page, select the button next to the head that has rosie cheeks on it. This will load a new set of buttons for you to select the facial features such has facial lines, pink cheeks or a 5 o'clock shadow. Remember you do not have to select any of the options if you don't want to.
Step 5 - Hair Style
Clicking on the next top icon leads you to the next option, selecting your Mii's hair. There are several options of hair styles. Find one that you like. Then select a hair color - light grey, blonde, orange, redish-brown, brown and black. Once again you have the option to move the hair up or down and arrange the hair according to your head's shape.
Step 6 - Eyebrows
Move over to the next icon at the top, Eyebrows. Select one of the different eyebrow shapes. Once again you have the option to select the color for your eyebrows. You can choose to match it with your hair color or not. You then have the options to shape them as you think fix. Move them up or down your Mii's face or make them thicker or thinner. You can even choose to create yourself a unibrow.
Step 7 - Eyes
Next select your Mii's eyes. Take the time to play around with the eyes. You can make your eyes bigger or smaller, move them according the size of your Mii's face. The first set of buttons allow you to change the angles of your eyes. You can also customize how close or far your eyes should be from each other.
Step 8 - Nose
Selecting your Mii's nose is the next step. Find the nose that can best fix your Mii's face. If you have selected a long face, like in this example you will notice that the nose will be up high on the Mii's face. You can move the nose down without being worried about the Mii's mouth.
Step 9 - Mouths
Continue moving across the line of icons and select your Mii's mouth. There are different shapes and color lips. You can select your mouth to express your mood; such has happy, serious, shocked and more. You can also make your mouth or lips larger or smaller and moved them up or down your Mii's face.
Step 10 - Facial Accessories
On this screen you have additional facial options and accessories. You begin by having the option to have a beard. Then you can select to add a mole to the left or right of the Mii's face, choose reading or sunglasses also selecting the color of the frame, or choose to have a moustache to match your hair or beard color.
