Wii points represent Nintendo money. Users can purchase items on the Wii Shop Channel using the Wii points. For example, each Monday Nintendo releases new Virtual Console games which can be purchased using Wii Points. The Virtual Console games start from 500 Wii Points and up. In addition, Opera (Wii's Internet browser) which is currently free to download will be sold for 500 Wii points after June 30, 2007.

Wii Points Card sold in the USA contain 2000 points ($20 USD). 100 Wii points breakdown to about $1 US dollar. Wii Points Cards can be purchased on this site or any game retail store.
