How To Add a Friend to the Wii Address Book

This assumes you know your friend’s Wii console number and your own Wii console number. Otherwise, goto How To Get your Wii Console Number.

- Open the Wii Address Book.
- Click on Register.
- Select the option to Register a friend’s Wii number (Click on Wii).
- On the “Enter a Wii Number” screen, click on the middle box on to open a screen to enter the Wii number.
- Now enter your friend’s 16 digit Wii console number.
- Press Ok. (Make sure you typed in the correct Wii console number)
- Click on OK once more.
- You must now enter a nickname for the WIi console number you just entered. Keep it SIMPLE, your friend’s name.
- Press OK
- Confirm that all the information is correct, then click on OK to add your friend to your address book.
NOTE: Your friend must add you (your Wii console number) to his address book in order to communicate (share Mii’s or messages) with you.
