How To Change The Screen Burn-in Reduction Settings On Your Wii

What is Screen Burn-In?
One of the first questions you may be asking is "What is Screen Burn-In?". The answer to the question is, "Screen Burn-In" is when an image that has been displayed for a very long time on your television gets burn onto your screen, this mainly happens on older televisions. The Wii has a special setting to help prevent this from occuring, it's known has the Screen Burn-In Reduction feature.
What the Screen Burn-In Reduction feature does is that the television screen will fade when the Wii game or channel is paused for five or more minutes. This help prevent your television from getting the image burn onto the screen. To have the screen return to it's original brightness, press any button on your Wii Remote (not the power button) and your screen will return to what it was before.
Changing The Wii Screen Burn-In Reduction Settings
On the Screen Burn-In Reduction Page select the screen ration (On or Off) you would like to display the image n and press the A button. Then select the "Confirm" button and press the A Button to set the position.

Note: Your TV may have it's own Screen Burn-In Reduction settings to darken the screen. Most modern televisions do. Wii's Screen Burn-in Reduction does not work while playing Nintendo GameCube games.
