How To Download Opera Web Browser for the Nintendo Wii


Want to be able to get on the Internet with your Nintendo Wii? Well, the first step is downloading Opera for the Nintendo Wii. It easy and takes just a few mintues to do. Just follow the steps and/or view the video below on How To Download Opera.
Steps to Downloading Opera for the Nintendo Wii
  1. Select the Wii Shop Channel
  2. Press the “Start” button
  3. “Welcome to the Wii Shop Channel” screen, Press “Start shopping” button
  4. On the next screen select “Wii Ware” button
  5. Select the button for “Internet Channel”
  6. Click on “Free” button in middle of screen
  7. The following screen will inform you that you can only use the Wiimote, Select ‘OK”
  8. Question: Download the software now? Select the “Yes” button
  9. Download successful, select “OK”

Unable to find that free button in # 6 -above

I am not able to find that free button in that # 6 says to do? in the middle of the screen

No More Free Button

These instructions where for owners who got their Wii's before June 30, 2007. Before that date Opera had been free to download. Opera now cost 500 Wii Points which is $5 USD.
