How To Set the WiiConnect24 Standby Connection On / Off

Once you have set your WiiConnect24 On, you have the option of setting it to run on Standby mode. By selecting to do so, the Wii will automatically receive WiiConnect24 messages and data even the Wii isn’t being used.
Turn the Standby option ON if you want your Wii to run WiiConnect24 all day (24 hours a day). Otherwise, turn the Standby option to OFF if you want to get message and data only when you are using your Wii console.

How To Turn the Wii's Standby Connection On or Off
- Select the Wii Options icon from the bottom left of the screen on the Wii Menu.
- Click on Wii Settings option
- Click on the right arrow
- Select WiiConnect24 button
- On the WiiConnect titled screen, click on the Standby Connection option
- Select ON or OFF
- Select Confirm.
