Game and Watch
Nintendo Game & Watch
Several Nintendo Game & Watch handhelds made in the 1980's are on display at the Nintendo World store. These handhelds are exactly what they are called, a Game & Watch. Each handheld comes in a special case, which houses a game and is a watch in which an alarm can also be set. There were a series of these Game & Watch, which were as popular for the games and for the type of casing/screen of each Game & Watch. Nowadays, these Nintendo handhelds are collectable items. There were 11 types of cases for the Game & Watch systems: Silver, Gold, Widescreen, Multiscreen, Tabletop, Panorama, New Widescreen, Super Color, Micro Vs. System, Crystal Screen and Special Editions. These handhelds game systems were the beginning of what have become the Nintendo Gameboys and Nintendo DS systems.
